SPOOL MAGIC

The Spool End that has become the tabletop for the Northside Learning Center MUD KITCHEN ISLAND had its second life as a collaborative art carousel. PLAYceMaker artist and fabricator, Brian Somerville and artist Brandon Donahue presented it at a live event called Conversations at OZ Arts Nashville. The whole thing spun on its axis and the artists painted a set of ceramic platters that were later auctioned off.

Here is the Spool End in its third iteration, reincarnated as a Mud Kitchen Island topper.
